Evening all,

We moved to Walkington about 6 months ago but not had much chance to go out in the 3 wheeler due to working on the house (which has calmed down a little now thankfully). Anyway, I took the dog out today and within about 10 minutes had seen a 993 and TVR wedge both out on drives for their Sunday clean. This got me thinking - are any PHers in the area?!

Ah - good to know there's a few of us. The Yorkshire thread always seemed predominantly West Yorks based.

Ellroy - I do the opposite trip to you as work in Malton during the week. A nice drive on a clear day.

Howden, but my kids from first marriage used to live in Bev. We had a good turn out for a Beverley Pub Crawl a few years back & some very spirited East Yorks runs out too.

I frequently Hoon out that way in car & on bike.

Some interesting cars out there then - haven't seen a S800 in the wild for a long time. Do love a good TVR - even if the 3 wheeler couldn't keep up (even if you we're limited to even first and second!).

Had a quick blast over the westwood into Beverley and back yesterday - all good form.

Ronart, is the Teal the Type 35 rep? Amazing things!

I'm trying to make a good route for East Yorks driving roads - have a look at the other thread,

I'm in Brandesburton.

Good classic meet 1st Sunday of the month at "The Black Swan" 12 noon on.

Good turnout of various classics of all sorts.

Hi Phil,

Just down the road in Brantingham, pass through Walkington quite a bit, but go round the back or use Kirk Lane, hate those spped bumps.

Cheers,

Simon.

I'm just down the road in Little Weighton....and we have some very interesting cars around here including quite a few TVR (regular monthly meet at the village pub).

I can often be spotted through Walkington in either the Tuscan or the Mk2 Sprite

Yup. Pretty informal. Diverse vehicles that included an Abbot Self Propelled Gun on New Years Day!

I was working on the Flemingate development in Beverley for 18 months and saw a few tasty cars around the area. The highlight was an original Maserati Ghibli in South Cave. I saw that twice - unbelievable road presence and quite a weird spot at 8am with the rest of us commuters in the rain.
