Be particularly wary passing the Blacksmith's Arms as cars reverse out and customers come out of the pub into the road. Also, past there on the way in and out from the Scalm Park end, the road is a 60 but narrows such that its tricky for 2 cars to pass each other going in opposite directions. Be careful gents, I've seen cars swerving into the hedges and they aren't exactly soft on paintwork!

The main straight down through the woods to Scalm has 3-4 entrance/exit roads on it and people dog walk down there so again be wary of cars pulling out.

And finally, whilst I'm lecturing you and being everyone's Mum (Sorry), I've seen cars, and many bikes, caught out by the chicane about 300 metres past Scalm Park on the way to Selby. It's generally decorated with a bunch of flowers or two.

Hey! who bumped me off the list??? i was number 33! I suspect the TVR folk which is a bit disconcerting when i do own a Chimaera so deserve better!

A the originator of the post I feel responsible for the way the whole thing has escalated. I ask you all to respect the local residents and keep to the speed limits, driving responsibly and the noise down, remembering that it is Sunday morning.

The intention was not to create another Malton! Nor a one off event that became over subscribed, with the risk of being too large for the venue, but rather to identify a café, that people attending could meet like minded people

By being an established café. there would not be the need to organise an event and risk the problems that occur at malton, as the intention was to have a place to call of at when on aq drive for a cuppa and a natter.

I wont be attending as I have other commitments, but enjoy.
