A black Mclaren P1 driving down Clarendon Road this evening. The number plate was something like "EVIL MOB".

Orange 66 plate GTR driving through Holgate this evening. Looks really rather nice. Was actually at the same place as the Aventador in the photo above however they were heading towards town.
Lovely orange 650S spider too!
Was hoping to see something nice again today going past, unfortunately it was an old Zafira with a ridiculous exhaust.

Goddamit the P1 is the only one I have yet to see out of the big three.

Saw an Ariel Atom going through the centre of York this afternoon, first one I've seen and I have to say, I want one a lot.

Saw Craig in the 840 yesterday just before 5pm, heading down King Lane towards Moortown. I was sat at the crossroads heading towards Adel.

I saw him too, in Guiseley (Queensway) at about 9 am or so.

Not a car but did a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy just fly over Leeds (and elsewhere I presume)?

That's what I saw smile I was so in awe I didn't have time to grab a camera.

Maybe a Boeing C-17 Globemaster?

I think we live on the flight path to Leeds Bradford and I could see it as I parked up after work. Only got a clear shot as it was flying overhead but front on it looked like a C5 Galaxy (having googled that plane)

I'm down in Morley and it came over here really low and slow with the landing gear out like in your shot, great noise, no doubt someone will be complaining about it right now though smile

Edit:

Was next to a grey MR2 Roadster with a PH sticker at the lights by the Drysalters Pub near Elland Road this morning. Sounded very fruity!

Hi, guess that would be me then, all black silver wheels.
Just took my dad out for a quick blast. Got to say it's a riot . The power is crazy.

I spotted a rather nice Escort Cosworth at the back of Rothwell Morrison's today, parked up. Looking as genuine as a genuine thing, nothing tarted up, just a good original one from what I could see. The online reg checkers say it is a real one. Curiously little MOT history though:

Back to the plane though...

Yes, it was a C17-A Globemaster, doing lots (15+) of overflying circuits of LBA runway. Out to Bolton Abbey at 5100ft asl, then over again towards Wakefield, doing a lazy turn centred on the M1/M62 intersection. It did seem very low, but believe it or not it was reporting at 3100ft asl over North Wakefield.

ETA: If anyone wants to know what aircraft it is that they have just seen, try: http://global.adsbexchange.com/VirtualRadar/deskto...

Unlike Flightradar24, it doesn't filter out military, police, ambulance etc.

Lovely Grey Exige S coming through dodworth this morning, having a bit of fun on the 40 section.
Owner would appear to be called Dan from the plate.
