Orange 66 plate GTR driving through Holgate this evening. Looks really rather nice. Was actually at the same place as the Aventador in the photo above however they were heading towards town.
Lovely orange 650S spider too!ali_XFR said:
I think we live on the flight path to Leeds Bradford and I could see it as I parked up after work. Only got a clear shot as it was flying overhead but front on it looked like a C5 Galaxy (having googled that plane)
I'm down in Morley and it came over here really low and slow with the landing gear out like in your shot, great noise, no doubt someone will be complaining about it right now though Edit:

I spotted a rather nice Escort Cosworth at the back of Rothwell Morrison's today, parked up. Looking as genuine as a genuine thing, nothing tarted up, just a good original one from what I could see. The online reg checkers say it is a real one. Curiously little MOT history though:
Yes, it was a C17-A Globemaster, doing lots (15+) of overflying circuits of LBA runway. Out to Bolton Abbey at 5100ft asl, then over again towards Wakefield, doing a lazy turn centred on the M1/M62 intersection. It did seem very low, but believe it or not it was reporting at 3100ft asl over North Wakefield.
ETA: If anyone wants to know what aircraft it is that they have just seen, try: http://global.adsbexchange.com/VirtualRadar/deskto...
Unlike Flightradar24, it doesn't filter out military, police, ambulance etc.
