Tens of thick tts sat in the overtaking lane on the A1 yesterday evening when the left hand lane was empty.
fkwits.
Standard procedure on the A1, the best is the 2 mile queue that forms in the outside lane due to 3-4 or lorries further down overtaking each other causing a rolling road block (the inside lane is clear for 2 miles) fkwits.
But the cars accelerate so slowly past them (1mph increments every 20-30 seconds) that only 2 or 3 cars get past before another one of the lorries wants to crawl past and forces itself into the outside lane.
I used to blame the lorries but it's peoples refusal to accelerate properly and then pull back in when the lorry moves over that causes the tailbacks.

I don't drive on the dual carriageways or motorways much these days as I don't work anymore but feck me, it's worse than I remember.
I did the right thing and pulled over after overtaking a truck and found myself staring at an empty lane because everyone was in the overtaking lane. Against my own usual behaviour after a while I just thought, "Sod it" and undertook everyone till I found my way blocked, overtook that car/lorry, pulled in and carried on that way until my exit.
I expect plenty of people muttered, "ahole in a Ferrari" but as lane hogging is now illegal and undertaking isn't then the nubbers can go do one.
Aaaaanyway, spotted a rather nice red 205Gti near the new garden centre in Garforth. Brought back memories from 1989 when I had one. Very nice.
Taxi getting flashed by the HADECS camera M1 J40, along with ALOT of other drivers! Can't believe people still get caught by these!
Youtube video
You can see the outline of my van in the flash!
and it definitely wasn't me it was flashing....

I do wonder how people don't realise that the cameras actually flash!
Someone passed me at 70+ in the M62 50mph zone near Manchester the other day; stupid or do they know something I don't?
Admittedly I push on between them (as they are not average speed cameras), guess people just don't see them?Someone passed me at 70+ in the M62 50mph zone near Manchester the other day; stupid or do they know something I don't?
