Fancy pulling another one together this summer? I'm in a similar situation with working away but I don't mind helping out where I can.
D
Let me check my diary to see where I am, and also what car I can borrow. Sold my toy as it spent all it's time at Manchester airport car park :-( D
Early one Sunday in the summer would be great. Pull a few local lads together and head out for an hour...
Cheers!

yep sounds good, even if I bring the X3 (its 300bhp but sounds st) and get a passenger ride with someone. Ok, leave it with me. In the meantime PM me so I have your contact details.Early one Sunday in the summer would be great. Pull a few local lads together and head out for an hour...

[quote=Beejayhay]I went on it last year, the black GT4 in the pics above, was good fun. Couldn't even hear my car in the tunnels, and it has a 3inch system end to end, the TVR in front of me was the loudest car i have EVER heard ....i kid you not lol Defo would do again![
Haha.....that was me in the Tuscan was certainly good harmless fun that morning. Would definitely be up for a repeat performance

Beejay - Did i see/hear you this morning in Brighouse heading towards Elland?
lol yes possibly, socially acceptable Outlander has nail in tyre so was doing school run in GT4 ....down to roundabout from Hipperholme direction and right towards Elland, enroute to Southowram. Would have been about 8.25ish Beejayhay said:

At full chat its loud, all induction and dump valve woosh .......addictive Which makes it all the more amazing that I couldn't hear it above that TVR lol. Tho if we get a stop in any tunnels this time the launch control might give him a run for his money

You certainly did. Its a quick (diesel) car but god its boring to drive quickly. Still have an old Civic Type R tucked in a garage not really driven for over a year which must be slower than this BMW but it was so much fun to drive quickly with the induction noise #chav. I do miss it!At full chat its loud, all induction and dump valve woosh .......addictive Which makes it all the more amazing that I couldn't hear it above that TVR lol. It's the weather/morning light that is the blocker at this time of year. Could be a gorgeous winters morning or icy, wet and dark - and we organise these weeks in advance so it's a big gamble. Having seen the TVR get stacked into the tunnel wall a few years ago they tend to be summer only. We don't want cars fishtailing through Leeds as it attracts attention we don't need.
That said a static 'cars and coffee' could be good. I'm snowed over the next few months so my organisational skills won't be available to Q1 next year.
