VSCC didn't disappoint - highlights were twin rear tyred Alta GP car on opposite lock for half of top straight - but pulling 82mph nevertheless, 27litre Napier Bentley wreathed in tyre smoke and Bugatti T51 on full opposite lock at finish line. Wonderful stuff.

It was rather good. The Bugatti driver was the same guy who had a massive crash at Prescott a few years ago.

The Picard-Petit was amazing.

So many cars, many unique, yet being run up the hill in anger. Great to see and such a friendly paddock.

Good entry both days this weekend. I'm hoping for good weather on Saturday so I can get a decent points haul for this years championship after struggling in an unsuitable car last time!

Not sure how good this weekends event is going to be. It seems 'Fueled Society' has leeched itself onto the program.

I'm hoping it's not going to be a field of VWs with stretched tyres, camber, air ride and BBS's (fake or not).

Harewood Hill climb was never broke....why are they trying to fix it until it is?

Great timing BARC - again. Harewood clashes with Croft Nostalgia race meeting - and much as I like Harewood it can't compete with a huge field of FF1600s etc.

Hopefully not, who is going to this? I'm going to mosey along to it, think I'll take the old 69 'stang to it (providing weather is ok).

The hillclimb is as usual with two separate events for Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday the Harewood site is also being used for the Fueled Society show. It could almost be considered as two separate events but there is only one fee to see both. If someone isn't interested in the Fueled Society event then the hillclimb won't be affected - the alternative view is that there is an extra attraction on the day.

Not that Harewood is broken, but it will hopefully give a wider audience to the sport whilst no doubt helping to finance the hillclimb on an ongoing basis which will enable other improvements to be carried out.

I'm looking forward to it but wish I had put my entry in sooner as the hillclimb was oversubscribed and I didn't get a place.

Hi. I'm interested to see the fuelled society bit. I got a hill entry for Saturday but missed out for the Sunsay. Can't remember a double header being so busy.

Hope you've had a good day. Most events haven't been as busy as this weekend seems to be, not sure why it is but there are a few invited classess this weekend so maybe that has made the difference. Looking forward to seeig Fuelled society tomorrow.
