Classic car gathering Beverley town centre Wed 22nd June

Hi Yorkshire car people....

EYTCC car club have arranged a classic car gathering for Wednesday 22nd June from 6-9pm.

The event is fully booked for attending cars, but its free for anyone who wants to come visit walk around and see hundreds of classic cars on display.

Parking is free in the council public car parks from 6pm and also Tesco offer 3 hours free parking as well.

The cars will be displayed in Saturday Market and the area is closed to traffic so if you do visit please park in the public car parks nearby.

Sounds interesting, unfortunately I didn't manage to get to this.

Good night indeed.

Highlights for me were a stunning Maxi, and a sort of Middlebride Scimitar with custom Brabham interior. Not seen that around. Don't think the bumpers were Middlebridge but the exhausts and rear lights looked genuine Middlebridge.

Thats a shame, you missed out was a very good meet, and a varied turn out of cars. Not sure on exact numbers i was entry 78, looked to be over 200 cars maybe more. Best of all it was warm sunny and the rain held off.

Sorry no pics (My I-phone was running low on memory)

Nice to see you made it Scott.

Highlight for me was the Metro 6r4 rally car, it was very noisy, and a rare sight, it looked like an original factory car on its 85 C registration, awesome engine, as used in the XJ220's..

Of course i always like to see E-types but i'm biased!
