Ive met up with quite a few of you through PH Yorkshire forum, and am woondering if anyone lives in Bradford/Shipley and surrounding areas...

I've a couple of mates who have some nice metal who meet up here and there for a drive/chat anmd would be keen to meet anyone who is local as it helps ease the boredome of those solo drives that I do most of the time!

I've got a bright red R8 V10 if anyone local is wondering what I drive!.....met up with a chap with a Cayman GT4 who lives locally yesterday and had a great drive out

It would be great to get a little group of like minded enthistasts locally as some of the meets/drives are quite some distance away usually.

I'm in Shelf/Queensbury area so pretty near Bradford smile
Would be up for a drive out....as long as its not restricted to exotica only ...I certainly don't fit that bill lol!
For local stuff the last Scalm Park meet was good, loads of nice metal turned up. Next one is this Sunday but a lot less interest (I'll going to have to pull out now toofrown )

What you got mate?!......it certainly doesnt have to be exotica......although its always best to have cars that are relatively well matched as otherwise its hard to keep the group together on a drive...

I too have a GT4........ha ha but an 'original' one out of Japan not Germany wink
Is modified (tastefully!) a bit and was putting out 381bhp at 1.5bar and has just been remapped to 1.6 so should be 400-410bhp now biggrin

Sounds like you've got plenty of firepower to hold your own!

I love the old stuff.....takes me back to my younger days!

Watch this space for a mini-bradford/shipley meet!

I'm in Calverley, but unfortunately nothing exciting at the minute. The 2 seated stuff went when kids came (Clio V6 and MINI GP), and I'm driving round in a complete stbox MG ZR until I decide what to get next - probably an Abarth 595 Competizione at the minute

Pudsey, and a scruffy but fun MX-5 mk2. A zip round the lanes is always welcome.

Nope, sold it last month. It was the 2nd I've owned, and as much as it was a great little car, life is too short to not own something different.

Just got a cheap commuter car so I can buy whatever car I fancy without having to worry about selling mine

I'm over in Embsay, but only at weekends, so an early morning run would be good for me, need a couple of days notice though, as i usually run up in the Defender, and you'll not have any chance of keeping up in a R8 biggrin

Assumed this thread was leaning more to the 'Drive Out' aspect rather than the 'meet n' chat'......on that point I quite fancy a drive out this weekend if anyone's up for it smile
