Flamborough help please??

First of all sorry that I have no first hand knowledge of living there, but I have been there twice in the last couple of months as a tourist and it seemed like a nice spot.
Bridlington is not too far away and like many seaside resorts seems a little jaded. However as you drive from Bridlington to Flamborough you seem to pass through some very nice areas so I suspect it may be at the posh end of Brid if there is such a thing.

I have to disagree with you, a lot of money as been spent on Bridlington more so from the South of the Spa it is now a very pleasant sea side resort. My judgement of Bridlington being jaded is based upon my first visit there for perhaps 15 or 20 years. It wasn't meant as a critiscism, it was more an observation.
(As a kid I holidayed there every year for 13 years and have great affection for the place. My wifes grandmother lived there but after she died my wife didn't want to go there. Hence the gap in visiting).
We were there at 5pm on a Saturday in August. We struggled to find anywhere to eat (as neither my wife or eldest child)like fish and chips, there were no families about, just groups of more mature holiday makers frequenting the numerous pubs and karaoke bars.
I was not knocking Brid, as I say I always liked it. Compared to somewhere like Blackpool it an oasis of sophistication and style, I was just making the point that the town centre was a little run down.
Once (if) the marina goes ahead and the development of the hilderthorpe area happens I am sure it will breathe some new life into the town.

Lol may do the odd bit of shopping in Brid but that's about it anyway, my mother lives in Grindale but has only lived there a year so still a newbie. I'm wanting to head up that way to join her but like any area there's good and not so good parts depending on what you personally are looking for.. Me well I like peace and quiet and I love fish and chips pmsl x
That's a big gig, you have my utter admiration.
I'm not sure what care services are like there, something else to consider possibly? There were a lot of DSS people effectively shipped out to Scarborough and the like some years ago which has certainly had an impact to my eye.

Bits of Flamborough look nice.
Flamborough is fine if you're over 65, like tourists, don't mind there not being any amenities for 5 miles in any direction and you are self-sufficient in not needing any local income as it's in the middle of nowhere and every job is NMW retail. Basically it's dull as hell and will bore you to tears unless you're an OAP. Be aware that due to its demographic you have a high chance of your new neighbours not being particularly welcoming of your situation.
To be fair I'm pushing 40 and unwell so keep my self to my self anyway, I'm not a townie I like quite, I drive so happy to do so to get to where I need to be. As for tourists I'm guessing they will stick to Cliffs etc not my door step lol although I know traffic can be a pain.
I'm not sure what part of my lifestyle would offend the over 65's?
