Hi Folks,

I'm trying to find a reputable place to get my 2008 Golf 1.4 TSI GT Sport remapped.
Currently running about 150bhp and done 70k miles.

Clayton's in Pudsey have said 45bhp and 56Nm torque increase is possible, they use Superchips.
I've also enquired with Dub Force in Kippax. Sound like a decent bunch (no figs quoted) and they're always busy which is a good sign.
A mate has recommended R-Tech in Leicestershire.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Ben

R-Tech have a massive waiting list and also don't do the 1.4 (they only really do 2.0TFSI and 1.8T)

I've used Simon at e-maps for a Touareg and would happily recommend him.

Thanks for the recommendation I'll have a look.

I've since found a couple of others who look like they know what their stuff:

Anyone had any experience of them?

Yes JBS.

rig their rolling road results.

Had a 2008 Leon FR TDI PD170, made 168bhp on their rolling road, then they fitted their stage2 kit which made 238bhp. off I went happy. Car felt a lot stronger.

Turned up to a rolling road day and made 205bhp, then took it to a local rolling road and made 206bhp. I was then suspicious.

A fried of mine had just bought a PD170 as well and was going to JBS for the stage2 kit. When his car was on the rolling road they wouldn't let him watch and gave him a very similar if not the same graph (im convinced it was the same graph).

Low and behold he tested it at a few places and the same 200-205bhp.

I went else where, got a different map and tested that, results were a lot better.
