Spoken with the venue, they are happy with it as long as we're well behave and are clear the event isn't endorsed / arranged by them, just need to pick some dates that don't conflict with other meets.

Right, struggling to get hold of anyone at Damon's so going ahead regardless. Sort of a 'seek forgiveness rather than permission' type of thing.

Elmwood farm is ok but the car park ain't as big as Damons but if it's early morning I gather it will be empty

I'm interested but I think that first Sunday is Mother's Day, I think if I mentioned going off in the car on my own that morning, I might get my tyres slashed by the wife....

Seen the comment re this event clashing with mothers day, it's unfortunate but I really want to stick to 'last Sunday of the month' so the dates are easy to remember.

Why not bring your significant other along for a slap up breakfast at Damons
