awww Rich I am the epitome of tact and diplomacy...except for when I am mashed - last night being a case in point

I am sure Bob will see the funny side as he is a darling. However I shall say my penance and don my hair shirt and beg forgiveness.

Not sure I'll be able to make it now, as I still haven't got a proper job and when I checked my balance yesterday I only had £20 left.

Still, a lot can happen in a month. At least I know a mate who'd put me up for the night (just as long as he got to do the pub crawl with us).

er, and permission off Vicki to go out on the lash the weekend after I get back from taking the car down to Spain!

Permission now granted on the basis that Vicki doesn't fly back from Spain until the Sunday

Tom, James, where are you staying? Are there any twin rooms to share cost or is it every man for himself?

I'll certainly start with the wall tour, but there is only so much "real ale" a man can take... and, well, it would be a shame to let all those damn fine city centre bars go to waste

i'm going to probably stay in the seahorse hotel on walmgate..although they often get upset if there's one extra person for breakfast in the morning

perhaps i'll just book into the travelodge

or who's for the hilton in the centre of town? we'll need cravats/spats/ridiculous hats and some improbably large cigars in order to carry the look off

If I tell you that one of the later bars is called "Orgasmic", does that give you some idea?

Actually figured it would be a dumb question asking if you wanted to share a twin Tom (room that is... although....) , on the basis that you might actually pull!

The offer of a spare bed at Gemini's is good for me (and it'll earn Rich a couple of free pints at the very least ).

Oooh, just remembered, we can buy "Kwak" beer if we're drinking in York (look it up if you've never tried it)... I challenge anyone to sink more than four...
