Great news is that I don't have to drive past the showroom every day and get tempted.
I think it will be good news for TVR too, as apart from anything else, the skipton road showroom was looking decidedly taty.

States hes a little hectic at present but would like to chat car club stuff in next few weeks.
Theres hope then in some form of dealer / club relationship

That sounds great, one thing Harrogate HC were never any good at was being enthusiastic about tvr and owners .. go figure! Complete contrast to Hexham HC who are very pro-car enthusiasts. This sale of HHC harrogate can be nothing but good news to yorkshire sports car owners who would normally go out of area to buy their TVR cars ...
I've always had first class service from Gareth, Jim and the lads at the service centre.
I also got on well with Nigel and had 2 very good deals with him. Sure, he's a grumpy old git but then so am I. And if anyone here had spent 26 years
dealing with TVR I think they may be a little grumpy too.
Most of the staff at HHC have been with Nigel for a very long time (17 years in some cases) and that says a lot about him IMHO.

Just got off the phone with Steve Williams after a lengthy and productive chat
Nice guy with high hopes for a two way relationship with regional customers.
He is toying with a new name for the business (retaining the Horsless Carriages bit but disposing of the Harrogate)so any good ideas?
As for TVRCC relationships He's keen to talk.
Ive got an appointment on 28th July to meet and chat through some ideas. If you have anything youd like to discuss please drop me an email offline and let me know.
I think Steve intends to drop in at regional meetings too to say Hi and discuss customers TVR needs.
He's keen and has positive hopes for the future of the TVR marque.
He states that if youre passing drop in and see them - mention Pistonheads, TVRCC and NYTVRCC if you go.

Think a name is the least of thier worries.
A mate of mine went in to look at a Tuscan S, the sales guy didn't even know how to get into the car.
Evenutally, when he'd worked it out, my mate asked him for a p/x on his Griffith. He showed the sales guy over to his car, where upon the sales guy put his hand under the wing mirror to try & open the door.
