I have bought tickets and a room for Tom

Well we bought tickets for Chim450, but he also bought his own , so we have a spare set which Tom could've had. Not to worry. I'm sure one of the regulars will appear from the woodwork and take care of them.

Well neither of us really, Chim450 has two sets!

Let Tom take care of the tickets you have as you purchased them specifically for him. I got his email after I'd already bought our lot and was going to let him have the extra set. I'm sure I'll find a home for them before November.

That would be a hell of a lot of beer tokens, I doubt even Jo & Adam could drink that much

However Jo probably could not sure about Adam though......

Only problem is you will be waiting at the hairdressers while were in the bar, drinking your beer tokens.

Sorry about the confusion Jo. Did Ted refund you ok? If there was any fee let me know and I will pay the difference.

No problem Neil, it's just one of those things. So long as we all get there, it really isn't any trouble. Ted is refunding my card. I believe there are a number of people who are delighted to find out that there will be a superior double available later today.

See you at the bar!

I'm sure you'll all be positively mortified to know that I have tickets sorted by "alternative means"! It's a good job everyone on PH looks out for me - I had no idea there was even going to be a BT&P this year - let alone that tickets were going on sale - until I got texted & e-mailed with offers of ticket+room wrangling. God bless you all.

Not only would I have not made it along a year or two ago, but I would have slept through the whole thing were it not for people here looking out for me.

Yeah but that's through your choice ... I might commandeer Vicki's car this year (if the F has gone by then) just so that I can insist we keep tradition and go topless in November... even if it is only as far as Leicester Forest

I was thinking of leaving a bit earlier and heading down through the Peak district park, sort of Bakewell, Ashbourne and then under Derby and then head towards Hinkley before dropping down to Brandon. It will take a bit longer but I will have got bored of the main route down as it looks like I will be doing it once a week in a hire car.

Anyone wanting to go the wiggley way let me know.

Happy to go wiggly or otherwise, but.......can't leave much earlier on account of aforementioned hairdo.

Tsk, this being girly malarky is a pain in the r's!
