I was thinking of arriving about 13:00 (rather than leaving) for a chance of getting into the pool / sauna / steam room similar to last year. I reckon a 10:15 leave from the usual A64/A1 junction will suffice.

I remember the comments about being a bit red but it did feel good to pamper myself for a bit in the facilities.

I remember past occasions when a) you couldn't check in until 2pm and b) the bar wasn't open until 3pm!

I have it on good authority that the bar situation will be addressed though

11am will be too early a start for me and Vicki and I'm not too fussed about going over the hills in a Saab convertible at the end of November (seeing as I'll have the roof up and the "handbrake" on no doubt)

So if anyone else fancies longer in bed, then a straight (fast) run down the motorway let me know.

I don't do "early" on weekends. Being in Derby, the chances are I'll have missed a lot of the wiggly bits by the time ya'll get down this way. Bit of "fun" off the M1 would be good, but I'm not really fussed either way.

You know, there's an awfully nice looking Vanquish at the Derby Aston Dealership at the mo...
