The weather forecast is better for next weekend. Does anyone fancy a run up the Dales next Monday? (Weather permitting).

We could meet at my place (Nr. Bedale) if required.

So - there is snow on the ground and more forecast?

Are we still on?

11am - Tesco?

I will be there at 11 however whether its worth going to a run will be decided at the time depending on conditions and turnout. Maybe just find a pub for lunch and a natter if its still below zero. Looks like it will be clear skies though.

Bob.

You people are bleedin' nutters.

Out in this in sports cars!

I am unworthy.

Still think you're nutters though.

We did wimp out and stick to main roads apart from one stretch where we braved the ice at about 20mph.

Also I wimped on the top off front as I could not get to my jacket Respect to Rich for keeping the hardcore topless motoring alive (in -7C ).

Thanks to those that did come along. Good company as always.

Sorry I couldn't make it in the Turbo Rollerskate, took me so long to chip the ice of the Astra, I'd probably have missed the meet up @ Tesco.

Was a good larf watching Bob's TVR Toboggan trying to swap ends!

Great company and nice meal in the pub at Harewood.

Must do it again soon, once I get the VX220 snow plow kit fitted, (its on back order apparently)

We'll be in Helmsey Market Place in Linny's Tamora (Bedale's the wrong side of the A1 for respectable folk) around 10.30 on Monday if anyone wants to meet for a chat and a ride out - nothing planned...

Maybe see you there Unrep - those fragile engines permitting

If not, have a good one.

Hi all and a happy new year to you.

Don't know why but i've only just realised there are regional forums so hence my first post here. I would, when I get my car back and the weather improves, also like to join up with you guys for a meet and some so I will keep checking out for times and dates etc when they appear.

regards,

Leigh.
