It's a Galaxy Mobile unit and to be fair he had his sign up in that access to the wood. However somebody had parked in front of it. Luckily I always have a good look at any vehicle parked there. Don't forget it's a fifty.

I've seen the Marked Vectra further up the A64 just shy of the no-limits sign (next to the carpet warehouse) with a laser gun pointing out the driver's window.

There's a crest of the hill there, so you come over, see the 60mph sign, then see the cops.

Answer: just do 50mph until well clear of the Red Bus Cafe.

And don't even get me started about the A64 dual carriageway.

After you head out to York from the Seacroft Tesco's roundabout on the A64 it's the Pub on the left just after the Dual-carriageway becomes single and drops into the dip climbing to the Thorner/Scholes/Barwick turnoff's for some strange reason it's a "50" from the roundabout until just after the Carpet Warehouse where it becomes a NSL. There was some incident there a couple of weeks ago so that might be why they are targeting it. Seems to have been a short term thing as it hasn't been there since.

Did you know that the camera in the ford galaxy
Has the ability to get you before you have seen it
By then it’s too late

Yeah I saw that Plod Galaxy at Harewood at the Classic car show last summer.

Makes me sick that they run around with that to try save a few lives on a lie, which we pay for, possibly costing lives elsewhere on the roads due to poor overall policing, while prostate cancer deaths in the UK amount to 10,000 a year, FAR outweighing any possible benefits a scamera van could do, or the whole speed camera debacle!

Sick that we pay our taxes to get shafted with lies while the NHS goes further down the pan costing even more lives!

Sorry, rant over, but I really wanted to smack the operators of that camera. Could have been out there and then pulling dangerous drivers or similar, but no!

Was also a tent next to it with some old fella's with some safety questionairre, talking about how not many people are as good as they say they are on the road etc. A 30 question highway code test... go 100% in 1 minute as I stood there.
They thought I was golden boy and advocated speed cameras like the one next to them...

Tried to explain the whole point I got 100% is because I understand that road safety is about more than outright speed, and is about the whole multitude of disciplines in the highway code and beyond.

Was pretty peeved that day after seeing the plod galaxy and the doo gooders... just come across as a set of propoganda spreading idiots who wouldn't know safety if it slapped them in the faces... and *I* pay for their ignorant ramblings and actions!

Arghhhh
