Nice mota Al. Glad to hear its not as reliable as a TVR
Oy! It ran perfectly thank you very much
In fact, more perfectly than I could have hoped for...
Lots of traction - check
Understeer - check
Soundtrack - soon to be addressed
Most satisfactory turn of speed - check and check again
Thanks again for yet another superb WW Stu.

OK, I'll concede that it DID start when YOU didn't expect it to
Agreed handling seemed OK, acceleration tick, zorst could do with a tweak.
No doubt that'll be addressed the next time we see it

A selection of my limited pictures.
Note the quality TVR being started the old fashioned way in the first two pictures
The other half after a spin in the lovely Tamora... enjoyed it lots! Still smiling and having me worrying about where the money will come from for one!
Some of my better halves handy work with the camera. Mmmmm, lovely.
And finally my lovely brakes. Glad I fitted and ran them in yesterday. The Eagle F1's tyres are perfect for 306's right upto the Z3S and TVR's in these conditions!
Must be more pics kicking around. Can't wait to see them
Thanks for organising a great drive out Stu, really good day.
Cheers
Dave

Well, and eventful Wolds Wazz for me. Firstly big thanks to StuB for excellent organisation and route choice, and to everyone for their patience and assistance.
STu's radios came in handy just after setting off as I was able to alert the car behind thathe had no lights on! AFter some pratting about fitting and testing a replacement windscreen wash pump yesterday afternoon, I'd forgotten to top up the pathetically small wash bottle, so was peering through a salt misted window at mph trying to catch up when a pheasant decided to jaywalk the road in front of me. I heard a sharp 'crack' but no flurry of feathers fore or aft and had visions of suddenly getting a lump of front spoiler jammed in a wheel arch, so I got on the mobile to Stu and requested a stop for a damage inspection.
'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!!THIS IS AN EX-PHEASANT!!
Not even a scratch on me paintwork
Foolishly, I turned off the engine while we bagged and booted the bird and the pathetically small battery wasn't up to snuff after an 8 week layoff and full headlights all morning, so thanks again for the bump start lads.
When Stu stopped to drop the top I couldn't resist so I jumped out and slung the targa in the boot, to facilitate seeing the road ahead over the windscreen. Tried to get a shot of the fast boys up ahead but as you can see, an old 350i is no match for a Speed Six in good fettle!
Barney's Cafe breakfast was great and they even gave me a jugfull of warm water to refill the wash bottle with - normal visibility resumed.
I had a great time, and fell asleep in the bath after I got home!

1) You were the only one going fast enough to get a pheasant....
2) I bow to your eyesight/judgement on your last pic- how can you tell thats a speedsix in front???
Dan
Good photo's & you're not the last to post- I will be next week... Still on 35mm film & roll not yet finished....

Great shots Dan - thanks
Could you please send me the hi-res shots of these 2 please to innes@bcmb.co.uk
thanks.
and before anyone asks, no, the headlights are not transplanted from an old TVR - they have such a thick film of muck over them that I was able to literally peel it off in practically one piece!

Well done Stu another great Wazz. Good to see some TVR's out this time!!
And I managed to pull a bit of Totty for a ride, must be the grey hair and years of experience.
My pictures are the same as everyone elses and I still don't know how to put the on PH.
Nice to see some new faces, I think we all enjoyed it, apart from no washers on the Tam, but a bottle of water at road junctions kept us going. Al that Porsche was a bargain, in such good nick, and it can certainly shift. Off to the garage to sort my washers out.
Thanks again Stu.
