Go halves on a tankful for my wedge if you like.

I might do that some day....how big is the tank on the wedge??

I know mine is a whopping 90L

A mere 50L

Come on. £22.50 each and we can go play a week on sunday.

No sh!t thats why I only use it to get to the gym and back!

Im hoping to go into business with a friend sometime soon, but me being the impatient type I might attempt to stretch my legs into the world of business myself soon!

Christ, talking like that gets me all nervous

You could just push it there and back and save the gym fee up for petrol.

Some of the N.Yorks TVRCC use that as a meeting point.

When you saw us there last year (mine was the yellow Ferrari) we'd just run up from my house near Goole and were having a bit of a chat before the TVRs went one way for tea and scones whilst the rock 'ard Ferraris went off to the bikers cafe at Sherburn for tea and bacon butties

So no, not a regular meet, more of a handy meeting place when required.

What goes on is basically a damned good hoon on some of the UK's best (usually camera free) roads.

Sounds like fun.

Would enjoy to come along for a morning out driving, just would I be welcome?

I enjoy a good hoon as much as the next pistonheader, but am I going to be out-driven simply because my car lacks the go, or is the level of "hoonage" within quick hot hatch territory.

I don't want to end up holding people up, or worse finding myself not comfortable pushing to keep up!

If anyone fancies going 50:50 on petrol I'd happily enjoy being a navigator and set of eyes

Cheers

It's not an S16, it's a *superior* gti6 don't ya know

Don't think I'll be bringing the car this time, I need to eye up the pace first ideally for obvious reasons...
Not 100% if I'm coming yet though, but if I do it'll be passengering with Rog, so will keep in contact with him regarding the run out.

Cheers

Am still deciding whether to bring the 911. It has a little bit of wear in the front bushes and doesn't go in for a new uprated front end set up until next week... however, Stu has said that it is not going to be a mental pace as we have a mix of new people and quite a few cars ... so, I may be tempted. I'll probably chuck the keys at Stu and see what he thinks

So Whippy, don't let the pace put you off on this occasion
