Hi Gefopsman, elvington is a concret airfield, the track is made up of cones, there is also a drifting circuit as well if you go with javelin who are excellent organisers of there events and are very friendly people. The airfield is one of the largest in the country it is also an emergency landing airfield for the space shuttle, thus any spins and theres nothing to hit, only each other. Excellent value at £95
