Hi,

Does anyone know of a car paint supplier in the Leeds area that will be able to mix up small amounts, preferably in aerosols,of an old US Pontiac colour?

There is one in Heckmondwike. I don't know the name. Do you know that area at all? If so I can give you directions and you maybe able to track it down.

I don't to be honest. I tried to Yell it for you but with no luck.
If you know the area, its just down from the Golden Fish chip shop at Liversedge?
I will try to drive past over the weekend and send you the address or phone number.

It is. The number you gave originally was for the place next door, but they gave me the right one.

Unfortunately they don't have a record of the paint code.

Thanks everyone for the help. I got it sorted at good old Halfords in the end. The car is a 1964 Pontiac and I managed to find an exact match from Kia. Strange but true.

Cheers.

How did you match it Basil, just by eye or did you actually have a colour match reference?

Blimey! Their "Ford Black" that has supposedly been the same colour since the 1920s comes out as dark grey on my motor!
