Maybe finish at a pub next time so we can all sit and chat together instead of seperate tables. Just a thought! Hope to see you all soon.

On the Wolds Wazzes StuB uses several different breakfast stops and most of 'em have plenty of seating. Mind you, especially in the summer when we start at 06.00, we're usually finished and having breakfast for 08.00 ... tad early for pubs, but we'll do some research if you like

luckily at work we have a jetwash like the ones you have at petrol stations but its on free vend.. so i was able to use it for a while

after using the jetwash lance constantly for 2 goes it looked cleaner. but the stuff was still stuck to the wheels and bodywork. least it got most of it off. then i got it home and got the wash mitt and shampoo out..

id NEVER use the jetwash brush on my paintwork!!!!!

Hopefully next one is soon - I'm looking forward to smashing the passenger side lights this time.

Sounds like a plan Stan! If you've got your car sorted, i'd keep it, it did look the Cats Whiskers as Kenny said, but i know what you mean about open top driving in the sunshine Al, it can't be beaten.
P.S. Hope you didn't get too wellied at your In Laws B'day bash and get into trouble, LOL!!!

Soz for the delay, just woke up. Had a great time and thanks again to Oliver for getting it together.

I was concentrating very hard to keep the Griff’s back end behind me and didn’t realise how hard until I sat down with Mrs.b for tea about five, fell asleep around six, she woke me at nine and I went to bed. So never got to post my pic’s, though I don’t expect there any different.

She’s all clean and gleaming again now and tucked up in the garage (the Griff not Mrs.b) the wheels took ages I don’t remember driving through a cement works.

Love that pic of Kenny’s car, I cringed at first laugh

Cheers,

Simon.

he he I think me and snotrag benefitted most from you keeping the Griff's back-end behin you Simon - everytime you sling-shot out of a turn, leaves on the road, rain coming down we wondered how the devil you were defying the laws of physics! Great to see the beast tamed!

Nah, was fine ... didn't get chance to clean the car though so it'll have to wait until saturday ... it doesn't mind though, it's not a garage queen and has been a lot muckier!

By the way got home, had done about 160 miles door to door and had just under half a tank of fuel left, which i thought bwas quite good considering

However, this morning I did get up at 04.30 to get a good early start in at work ... and put £50 of V.Power in .... the 525 .... TDS! banghead

how to blow 5 hours and £160 in one morning!

Just shows how many places my head is in at the moment! I even pulled up to the pumps, checked I was at one that had diesel, then.... blank confused

I just thank God that I have a Co fuel card and it bounced the petrol ... or I would have just paid and driven off ... until the engine started making some unhealthy noises!

Had an excellent day. Thanks to Oliver for organising it.
Tried taking some pictures on the run will post them up next week, apparently 3 day development means they’ll be ready next Monday.

AL666 Thanks for the tip on fixing the wind deflector springs. I’ve got rid of the cardboard.

I'd go for HotWheels ... the one with the orange track yes much preferred it to the yellow Matchbox version
