Thanks to Talkwrench for allowing me to pick his grey matter - I shall have it priced up (Steering bushes right??)
Definitely sounded like a steering bush or a very dry track rod end. Nip into a Kwik Fit/ATS type establishment, find the chap thats over 18 and finished his bacon and egg sarnie and get him to pop it on the ramp, jack up the front and identify the source of the squeak. All the linkages are very visible and accessible. Once you know what it is, say "Thank you, young man. I'll let you know" and leave the premises swiftly but discretely. Then email me and tell me what you've found out.

laugh Top idea

At the moment Im waiting for a collection at home, if the driver arrives with enough time to spare, Im going to pop up to my mate garage and ask him to pop it on the ramp or at least jack it up and have a peek, then see what the situation is

Could use a couple of exhaust mounts and a clip for my PAS resevoir hose too yes

Thanks again matey wink

It was the first time I have been last night and I seemed to get there as people were leaving (I know I was driving a Vectra, but come on give a guy a chance smile ).

It was good to see you and your lad again Leigh, your lad is a right petrolhead, you've taught him well thumbup

It was nice to meet Michael (Talkwrench), see you tomorrow, and Al (Buriana), nice watch.

It's a bit of a treck for me and will probably never get there before 8, so won't be over much, but would be nice to come over in the Taimar when Talkwrench has worked his magic.

Cheers, Col

Thats a cracking lens and one that I will get around to buying one day yes

Mark.H

They're the only photos taken Im affraid, once I get a lens with a smaller focal range then more photos will be coming along as I couldnt manage to get shots of all the cars due to having to walk in the middle of main roads to get them in shot wink
