Damn forgot this was on
may have to make it to the next one but as the interior of my mondeo is full of random cables sticking out of trim panels and my fibreglassing it may look quite out of place - I will look even more out of place when its finished
What are you doing to the old Mundane-o Sam?may have to make it to the next one but as the interior of my mondeo is full of random cables sticking out of trim panels and my fibreglassing it may look quite out of place - I will look even more out of place when its finished
in car pc that will do movies/mp3/gps (also setup speed and trip logging for when i go on a spirited drive)/handsfree phone/reversing camera/mobile internet (handy for updating my online gallerys at car events) and hopefully to into the ODBII port so i can talk to the cars ECU
8inch subwoofer infront of the driver/passenger seat
uprated door speakers on nice solid MDF mounts
tweeters in custom a pillars (there done and in the car)
split charging
posibally uprating alternator if needs be
fully sound-deaden the doors/boot/roof (just got the roof to do)
sort the boot out to hold the 2nd battery/rear sub box/amplifiers
rebuild the centre console to hold the ipod
so i have a lot of work to do but hey i loves my music
and the good thng is to the average passerby when the look in it should all look stock to raise no eyebrows and the good thing is ive tested it out already with ballast in the back and it actually handed better with the weight in

yep still have a fair bit to do
thank god for Microsoft virtual machine though - means i can effectively test different incar PC front ends and not worry and most of the cabling in the car is done - connecting to the cars ECU is going to be an absolute pain - may have to not do that
the scary thing is once i ahve finished the mundaeno i already have plans to build another vehicle that will be slightly more mental
