PH pub meet - 2nd Monday each month
Discussion
hi chaps,
nice to see some different motors and people.
As for propping up the bar, well thats what a bar is for is it not, we spent money and to be fair i did not see anyone complaining and I definately did see a few spare chairs so it was not that full.
Tunnel run, I dont recall, however I do recall following a couple of like minded gentlemen who all appeared to be going my way apart from when I headed home and it was just me, funny that.
Is everyone going the same way next month?

It was a good night; nice and relaxed. I thought the venue was good enough, but was a shame about the private car park, but I'm sure it will be open again once the digging is finished.
I guess that all that is left to do is to decide whether we relocate the meet over to this place? And if so to decide whether we meet through the winter (weather permitting), or wait until spring time?
If there are question marks over the venue, then we could try out another location next month if anyone has a suggestion?
Anyway, nice to see everyone, and comments on the above would be welcome!
Cheers. BB.

Well done for organising that BB - I think the location is fine and like you said once the other car park re-opens, should be a little better.
Lets give it a whirl for a few months and see what happens - if we come across anything else in the meantime then we can always throw it up as a suggestion.
See ya next time

Where else is there that is easy to get to from M62 and pretty much central, without been stuck near Leeds or Bradford?
No worries with venue, like u say when car park is done will be ideal.
I am up for trying for a few months and see how we are treated (any more funny looks!)
See u all next month, or over at East Riding meet.

Good meet and great drive home!
Sorry I left you Martin, we stopped at the traffic lights a couple of junctions after you got stuck and I saw a pair of low-slung cibies in my rear-view mirror so presumed it was you. Turns out it was the turquoise Tam that turned off 5 minutes before.
...and I thought my car was loud, wow!
Cheers Alex, I got caught out by the last set of red lights over North Street, not worth any risk to cross that late. By the time they changed you guys were through the next set into the last tunnel.
