Sure you may have something planned, but a suggestion -

From Headingley - up the A660, over the roundabout at the school through Bramhope, then down pool bank, left at the bottom, past the filling station, left, towards lindley reservoir, this raod takes you right over to the main A road, near the golf balls, then hang a left down to Bolton Abbey.

Brilliant roads, not too long a trip.

Theres a place near Norwood Edge that I've always wanted to get some good car photo's, this big sweeping 180 righhander on the steep hill above the reservoir, very alpine-esque...

Just a thought... I'll be going this general direction from Leeds, but don't think I'll be driving up with you guys for obvious reasons.

Why?

You mean the the other side of the Blubberhouses??

We went up through the Blubberhouses last year when we met up at the Stone Trough in Rawdon...brilliant road but mad in the wet (especially in my car!)

Cool! just looked in the gallery at the first one back in spring 2004 and found my red Griff, then later that year it seems to have morphed into a yellow Ferrari ... oh happy days!
