The dark Vectra spends many a weekend cruising between Saltaire roundabout and the Bingley by-pass roundabout. It seems to be doing ANPR checks rather than going after speeding motorists. There's been a tow truck in close proximity from time to time too. I've seen it several times setting off after and pulling over what appear to be otherwise innocent motorists.

Fair enough if they're catching people through ANPR checks though...

S60 Grey Volvo plate ending TOH around York, it pops up everywhere! also seen a silver 1 series that insists on driving a foot from my back bumper whenever it's behind, can see lights behind the grill but still unsure if this is BIB? they annoy the hell out of me, maybe looking for an easy pull. The Impreza that was around York used to do it too.

For the last two mornings I've seen a '57' plate white Volvo V70 pottering around the Hessle A63 area with a chap in. Nice lights on the grill and rear window.

Burgundy Volvo CX05 AYP giving someone a tug just outside Monk Fryston tonight. All lights flashing, handily drawing attention to the fact he was unmarked. Fair play, there's been a nasty crash or two around there lately. Unlike the Selby Ring Road, where the jam sandwiches were carrying out speed checks at half five in the morning a few weeks ago  .

As bobbins says, burgundy estate with ( as if it wasn't difficult enought to spot them) a classic Volvo extra Dog Guard!!!!
Meant to say seems to run out of Tadcaster along with gray S80 unmarked as well

I saw an unmarked dark blue Volvo estate on the daltry st. flyover in Hull with the lights on.....Had a private plate though which ended "?? NHM"

I don't think that can have been a Police car, or not a Humberside one anyway. There is no way it would have a private plate on it.

There are a few unmarked Octavia vRS kicking about. My mate just sold his and the person that bought did so as he copper mate spends all day driving one round west yorks and loves them!

58 plate LDV van spotted in Barnsley the other afternoon with blue lights flashing. Semi high roof model, all in white with blacked out middle windows and solid rear doors. Reg started 'BD' I think?
