I thought that the Police were under financial pressure and that as such patrols in marked cars had been reduced to save money. Has this policy changed ?

ps: were has all this money been found to buy and run all these unmarked motors ?

Couple round Doncaster, Burgundy coloured 330ds (2x), normally floating around the M18 area. Silver Octavia VRs, couple of dark coloured S80s and V70s, and a silver/grey VW estate, which shifts faster than it should do.

Think SYP are focussing more on marked cars at the moment.

A59 between harrogate and skipton, A grey mk 5 golf. Had no idea it was the bib till i went past and saw the yellow jacket. When i came back it had pulled a merc driver up and the blue lights were in the car going hell for leather.

Not offhand, but one of them is a 57 plate, with discreet blue lights in the top of the rear window, and the grille lights are hidden well too.

Dark blue current shape Corsa spotted on Dewsbury Road on the way out of Leeds near the KFC tonight at 5:30 - had pulled someone over, blue lights flashing on dashboard.

Driver had a hi-vis on at that time but presume he'd put it on to get out and speak to the other driver.

Car was base spec, wheel-trim model and needed a wash.

Very inconspicuous choice indeed.

Noticed a silver Vectra (08ish) doing the round around Leeds a few times lately. Once having pulled someone outside Asda house. Another time near the White rose sat with a marked car.
