the pub was shut when i got there , i hung around for a while, nice white gallardo spider went past with the top down, then i went and got a pizza for tea and went home

No, I'm a tad under the weather at the moment (nothing serious) but as I am racing on Sunday the only out of the house stuff I am going to be doing between now and then is work.

But in the interests of keeping this meeting alive I will endeavour to be there next month.

Yeah I know proper cooked food, good portions etc. vs boil in the bag and microwaved food at a chain pub, the local American car club moved its meeting to sandpiper before the fire (I won’t get into why as I can’t be bothered – I haven’t been to a meeting since). But the only problem is last month it apparently wasn’t open on the Monday so unless Simon can say if it is open or not as he passes it regularly (I might have a look on the way home from work) if it isn’t open on a Monday were stuck with the Sandpiper

Hmmm we went on a Tuesday and Friday, give them a quick call, i'd be really suprised if a pub wasn't open on a Monday although parts of the pub are still being refurbed

Well I just phoned them and they said they will be opening on Mondays from next week so I guess that means we will be back at the Triton.

Well as nobody else has put their name down I'm not sitting there on my own, I think I'll give it a miss this month (shame as it is back at The Triton) and see if enough people are available for next month - weather looks cack too
