Humberside Police New Car (Hull)

Popped out at lunch and saw a Lexus ISF all livered up with Police markings/lights and a photographer taking shots.

Is this to replace the Subarus or run along side of them?
I've noticed the new 5 Series estates on patrol for a while now.

Not sure it'll do the job flying over the speed bumps?

Don't know about that, but there is a new or two Evo to replace the Subarus.

Nope my Dad recently bought his second Lexus (2004 RX300 fyi) and went to the promo for the new RX450H at the weekend - apparently it is for real and not a promo shoot - I'm guessing it is to augment/replace one of the M3's they have. I also saw one of (if they have two) Evo's on Saturday Night too.

Defo genuine as it has the Humberside Bage and numbers on, usually promo stuff would have some generic Poice stickers on. An odd choice for a Police car though as Lexus don't seem to be popular with the forces.

It did look more then a promo car, but you never know.
Mrs A-W had seen the Evos, I still haven't had the pleasure. If I was ten years younger I might have changed career.

I've seen one of the Evos, was pootling about with the 3-series dog cars.

I'll ask my Dad if he's seen these things at his work. They did the livery on the scooby when that was new (I was working there as a temp when it came in!)

I saw the evo last week, HAMMERED past me on the 1079.. looked to have some sort of splitter on the front, that mean it's a 360?

Unless you're referring to something else, the 3-series dog cars that work with the Subarus are 330s not M3s.

Anyone know ehy they are using the old livery rather tahn the yellow blue which has apparently been proved to be more visible?

The place my Dad works did do these and the Evo. Apparently they've got 2 of the Lexii. :P
