Well after a couple of visits to the proposed new venue, I think we all agree that the Innkeepers Lodge at Oulton is ideal?
The private (dogging) carpark is now open and its protected from the wind etc and will be perfect once the spring / summer comes around, and the bar area is fine for our purposes (as long as you like the smell of cabbage).
So the only question remains is when we re-start the meetings? Do we just keep the meetings going and plan for January 11th, or are we better waiting until maybe March to start things again?
As always your thoughts are very welcome!

I think ith the xmas and ny season coming up that attendances will be down a little anyway despite people wanting to get away from the mad rush, time constraints will negate that.
I dont know how many more I'll be making in the near future, but I would think leaving it until March isn't a bad idea

Nice to meet you all the other night. Yes I think the venue is fine, big carpark and they sell Diet Coke by the pint...
As for the 11th, stick it up, see what happens.
Otherwise, for those of us who are brave enough to use of P&J's all year round, how about a bit of a hoon or a trip out somewhere on a Sunday morning in the new year to burn some petro-chemicals and find some good butties or fish and chips...?
I'd offer to lead but... you'll all get bored in yout TVR's stuck behind me...
