phoenixz said: i think i'll way in here.
i had a pretty good view from the other side of the hill and i have to say that the power really didn't matter much due to the conditions. (as evidenced by the 230hp Renault megane beating the 400hp TVR Sagaris - i so predicted that)
Mark had more experience of where and how late he could brake from the passenger rides earlier, not to mention other previous experience coming into play. B19 NOR on the other hand seemed to struggle with this, i mean no offence just constructive criticsm.
you seemed to be pumping the brakes for the first few laps, but instead of bringing the brakes to locking point and releasing you seemed to be jaming your foot on like a sledge hammer. Not sure if this is down to inexperience of the car on a track or just over exhuberance, but i would have definitely said that it cost you the race
again no offence intended, not trolling or trying to stir things up, just trying to be helpful
Phoenixz aye cheers buddy just advertise all my competitive advantages i had going into that race. truth being told i wanted to win that and knew that id have no chance on the straights so had to be smooth and consistant under braking ( i rev match to avoid lurching under braking) also had to hold a high corner speed to gain some time back. nor's car does look a beast though. A 1 on 1 with hollowpockets cant be far off! we wanted the nobles to be up against other cars to see if we could get 3 wins and show what the cars are capable of. maybe they could have put mine up against an ariel atom instead. they seem pretty slow

It would have been close on Sunday but not on a dry track, watch the youtube clips, as soon as the GT28's were spooling i was trying to control wheel spin on the ao48's and still hadn't used the extra 110bhp and lb/ft that the happy button provides, there really is a big difference over the t28.
Knockhill tonight, think I'll put the eagle f1's back on.

Maybe not Scotland's finest car, but Scotland's finest parking attempt on Carden Place, Aberdeen

On the way to Dundee Law to try my new tripod (Poundland one but it's the first I've had and I want to get used to it before my trip to London and Swansea coming up) I saw a brown Austin 7 convertible turning onto Balfield Road by the Arnold Clark showrooms. Sounded pretty cool though I'll admit

I had a nice little trip off to cut some grass so called it a day early. Too much standing water!
