Are you suggesting that this may be one of Mr Kynch's fleet? Wouldn't surprise me if it was.
Have they not bailed on Aberdeen, heard they live amongst the stars in Hollywood now.I think I saw one of the sons, black Range Rover reg EK ??? filling up with fuel a week or two back in the Aberdeen area so I'm guessing they still have a presence. I once met Larry briefly through work in the oil business, a true gentleman and one that I don't begrudge a penny of his worth. He apparently grew up in Aberdeen’s Mastrick and Garthdee area's and started out as an apprentice engineer at Culter Paper Mill. Apparently he was worth 88 million quid before selling Venture Petroleum and his stake in that provided him with a further 93 million pounds, (that info was from the P&J so a pinch of salt may be required?), see the link below. A friend of mine knows Mr Kynch better than I and has the same opinion of him, a quiet friendly guy who just lives and breathes motors on a scale most people could only dream of!

I heard he bought the house next door to Sandra Bullock, it must be something along those lines anyway! lol
I'm sure Nathan still does all the scuderia racing around Europe so they probably do still have homes and a pile of fancy cars here, not to mention the complications of taking a collection that size to the U.S.
I remember my old man saying he met him when he got the first new at the time DB7 vantage in Scotland and Larry wanted a look as he hadn't taken delivery of his own one yet. He said the collection already had several astons and was like a warehouse full of cars.

I believe he once bought an entire Jaguar XJ220 racing team including the transporter and motor home from the pro-celeb series in the States that supported the Indycar series, he also has a vast collection of Ferrari's both historic, classic & modern. I have seen a few of his son's cars in town, hired out for weddings (Phantom, Azure, etc.). But believe his son runs Azure Hire Cars on his own.
I heard a similar rumour that he bought up all the race cars from a racing team but I don't believe that it is entirely true. There were the XJ220C (for racing) and XJ220S (road versions) and if either were entirely owned by one person I am sure it would come up in the history of the cars.
He has/had at least three XJ220 though (each very different) and I would not be surprised if the rumour started because he bought up all the *spare parts* from a racing team for his XJ220C.

I do having worked for him back in the late 90's / early 2k's and knowing the sons but an open forum is not the place to discuss. Having seen and walked round the continuous growing collection is utterly amazing.
I once bought a 22B from him as well.

Dark blue Ferrari 599 in Cults earlier, and a Maserati GranCabrio on Gt Western Road.
As well as a couple of R8's, and a silver Aston Martin DBS.
There was a black Porsche 993 GT2 or TurboS (Not sure which!) parked at the Porsche garage in Tullos about 5.30am this morning!
Going to the Porsche dealership, now that's a little bit like cheating? As well as a couple of R8's, and a silver Aston Martin DBS.
