Saw one in Newington of all places last autumn! Pretty show stopping, shame about the mechanicals!

Could it have been a DB4 Convertible? Upright headlights rather than the Bond-esque enclosed lamps? There's a concours condition one lives not far from the area you spotted that.

I thought it was enclosed lamps (hence not a DB4), but it was just a quick glance I caught of it. Definitely very dark navy

To do that would have to surpass the utterly hopeless PH upload system; and typically re-download each individual photo from the cloud to do this; current system is much simpler and faster. Intention is not to clickbait for the page; as the numbers will show you it's entirely a pet project! If it sticks in your craw then I'd suggest that you don't click the links...

Followed this going up the Edinburgh city bypass, was immaculate.

A silver V8 Esprit was behind me for a while tonight heading along the City Bypass towards the Gogar roundabout (I actually came the long-ish way in to work to get a better look and hopefully hear!). Numberplate ended in ACR. Still an amazing looking car!
