Just got my wheels back after powder coating. Great job very pleased with the powder coating, this is a first for me so we will see how durable the finish is.

LOL that's a brilliant comment, you obviously have not come across a new set of Pilot Sport Cup then!

I got him to do a set of GT3 wheels. The job was awesome.

Went from this:

to this:

He split the wheels, new bolts where required, and then powdercoated the centres satin black with the rims (barrels) being done in a chrome powdercoat. Brilliant job.

Chrome powdercoat, good thinking. I got rid of a set of split rims on my BMW as I couldn't be arsed suffering continuous corrosion on the outer polished section. This would've been a solution I guess. Oh well!

I know several folk had the outer bit painted silver but it just doesn't look right on a lip that's supposed to be polished.

Mike is amazing what he can do. I sent my dishes for my bbs up to him for repair and polish as had small dent he done them and sent back within the week biggrin and when i opened them and rebuilt my wheel they were spotless and that was back in February, then have been used on the car daily and cleaned once week or once every 2 weeks. They are still spotless bow

My new dishes are going up later next month and i live in the south west.
Photo's from players 6.0 which was 16th September

I've heard a lot of good stuff about this guy (and seen a lot of amazing 'before' and 'afters') but when I needed a wheel refurb he was a nightmare to get hold of/didn't return calls/e-mails etc.

Shame really, as his work seems to speak for itself.

I just had my AC Schnitzer type III racing wheels refurbed by mick and he did a fantastic job. To be fair I think he has work coming out his ears, he's also more of a face to face type guy so my advice would be to pop down with the wheels... If you are looking for a quick turnaround he's not your man, he works at his own pace.
