Was the car's first shake down since the re-build, and nothing fell off! Had some CD's in the car, but got all the music I needed listening to all the rumbles and grumbles form all the sweet sounding Motors. nearly used a full tank of Shells finest v-power too!

145 miles, half a tank of V-Power and my trip computer shows 21.5mpg! Usually I get 220 miles to a tank and it tells me 18mpg... so i'm happy to have half a tank left since I wasn't exactly hanging around either. When's the next run?

I used about half a tank, had to push it a fair bit to keep up with the RS4 and the Cavalier Turbo towards the end  It did perform well enough when required though! Car seems to have survived fine, although it has developed a rumble above 30 which I hope is a rear wheel bearing.

Haha, I was going to take photos but as people were giving it beans past us I had to switch to the video mode which took a few seconds  I think Graham/Hollowpockets also took a video...?

I think you and your car did really well to keep up, you must've had a lot less grip than us with our 4wd... and that Volvo that took exception to being overtaken! Decent engine in the rep mobile! Keen for a blat tomorrow afternoon though as the mx5 should be fixed by extremely helpfull garage round the corner and if not, could always take the corolla.

If you guys are about later in the afternoon I could meet up, wouldn't be able to do a run (Spending the day with the other half.) but would be good to see a couple folk!
