The Lips character makes some comment about having been lifted and how there'll be trouble when he finds out who etc etc.

Yourgoing Toprison's comments are pretty funny. However he only has 1 friend, a guy with loads of fords. Fairly easy to work out who it is?

rolleyes seeing as they themselves have been posting up what they've been doing, and even added grampian police as a friend, I can only assume he'll be thumping himself over the head with one of his many addidas trainers

They have been caught, on grampian police facebook page:

Grampian Police can confirm that three people have been charged in connection with a number of thefts and attempted thefts of cars in Aberdeen during July.

The three males, aged 18, 16 and 16, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court from custody on Monday 6 August 2012.

The vehicles stolen include an Audi S4, a Subaru Impreza, a BMW and an Audi A5.

As the matter is now the subject of live court proceedings Grampian Police can make no further comment.

Is this now where we wait for the even more infuriating part? We'll see what the consequences are.

no doubt released on bail until a further hearing in 2016 whereby they will again be bailed to obtain background reports and reconvene in 2018 whereby they will be given 100 hours community service!

Thus far, every Police Camera Action style show I have watched featuring people hooning in stolen cars, including going the wrong way up streets and cutting across pavements, have ended in a less harsh penalty than my mate got handed for speeding in his own car in the middle of the night on a motorway.

I'll be immensely suprised if this lot get anything more than a 3 digit fine and/or community service and/or suspended sentence.

and 2 of them being 16 will mean they don't have a license so they will no doubt be given 6 points or something daft which will have no effect on them!

OP update

smile

Also have it on good authority that someone put in all their windows over the weekend.

What a shame, although tbf I doubt its 'their' windows, either mummys or councils

I hope they are at least feeling a bit of the fear my family have been feeling over the last few weeks

"Charges dropped due to lack of evidence" seems to be a favourite on police tv shows..

Apparently a 4th person charged

presumably people could find out their names by comparing the list of people in aberdeen sheriff court yesterday and today to the list of friends on facebook?
