I see they're testing SPECS average speed cameras northbound on the bridge in a 40 mph limit and on the M90 until the Rosyth exit.

Looks like it was creating big delays earlier this evening? To be fair, workies were nearby.
I've changed the times I head to and from work now as this is seriously causing issues with traffic on approach. My normal 15-20 minute journey took 52mins last night as I left a bit later.

Biggest issue is clowns slamming the brakes on for the average speed cameras like they're a gatso and ending up around 20mph.
It looked like a big delay yesterday. I'm off to Dunfermline later so I'll 'enjoy' it myself shortly. Any idea why they started it on the bridge rather than after the bridge?

God knows, FETA said a while back they hadn't been asked about it.

The limit on the temporary works for the M8 upgrade has been set at 50, so I don't know why it's only 40 here. 40mph limit means 30mph in real life at best. Never mind, only another 17 months to go...

Tonights delay seems to have been caused by a southbound 3-car shunt.

I think the 40 limit is so we can all get a good look at progress on the new bridge.
