Hi folks,

First time posting here and not a great one to be posting as a first. Had my silver DB9 stolen this morning (26th Nov)around 3.00am from outside my house - we're in rural Aberdeenshire. Cops are onto it but so far the tracker seems to have turned up a blank. Just wanted to ask if folks could keep their eyes peeled.

Only had the car just under two months - loved it cry

Thanks

Dave

Sorry, forgot to add. Registration is V12 VAS and we are in the Banchory, Deeside area.

Please call Police Scotland on 101 if you see it. Thanks

Stunning car and a horrible thing to happen to you. There has been a thread running with stolen cars in Aberdeen area, might be worth a look.

Sickened to read of this. I hope the car is recovered undamaged, and the thieves are hit by a small yet effective meteorite shortly afterwards.

Allegedly spotted in Marchburn (shock) in the early hours, I do hope it gets returned in a decent condition

Hey Bob. We're out off the South Deeside Road. Nicked the keys from the house in the early hours

That's a sickener, I really hate those thieving scummers, nowhere is safe from them.

I know we used to be a bit lax about checking the house was fully secure, but not anymore. I'm wondering if they found an easy route into yours, as that's their usual MO.

A Jag was stolen from Kintore over the weekend too.

Sorry to hear about that mate ! Seriously to many cars being stolen in and around our area these days. Moved out to the country myself to get away from having to lock the doors, but unfortunatly now that has all changed...

We got a briefing on this in work the other day along with several other high value stolen cars, strange that you are the owner of it. We all were wondering how you failed to notice the car being started up? Anyway - We have all been keeping our eyes out in the Glasgow area, but nothing so far.

You probably dont want to hear this, but Chief Inspector has authorized vehicular force on this vehicle to stop it should we come across it. (kidding hehe )

Shared on facebook, got a few friends that live in the sticks around that way that'll keep an eye out.

I did notice last night when I was coming home from Portlethen, there was a LOT of police going about south deeside, garthdee and anderson drive. A mistubishi traffic car was just sat at the roundabout at the bridge of dee watching traffic.

In reply to Rat - when my car was taken last year, I suspect they pushed it out of the drive and a good bit down the road before starting it, as it was heard started and zoomed off from about 10 houses down.

Christ, not another one frown

Beautiful car, hope it gets returned in one piece. Will keep an eye out for it, I work down the South Deeside road.

Was looking on Scotland Supercars FB page as they have shared it and seen a couple people tagging people saying to lock there cars up etc. There is no doubt in my mind whoever these thieves are they have FB pages and are probably members of pistonheads looking specifically on these sites, so prob not the best thing to be tagging mates in for some thieve to look on the page and see where you live etc... So easy now adays to get info etc! Just sayin
