Thanks everyone, I'm going to be honest and say that I thought #3 was the weakest. So I may need to re-think some of my future shots!

Always good to get feedback smile

Very decent as ever bud.

I'd be scared of getting ran over in the dark lol.

Keep em coming.

Thanks Davidd, I was hoping someone would come forward with an R35 up this way for pictures, but the wait goes on.

Thankfully Jamie picked a good spot, for the time we were about we didn't see a single car on the road.

Still rushed about a bit!

To be honest, how we got away with being there that long with nobody passing through is as surprising as it was lucky!

very nice handling of light scott, it is so easy with these low light shots to blow patches of the picture which you have expertly avoided, very impressive and up there for inclusion as poster work easily thumbup
my amateur photography medium is wildlife so not much experience with cars, landscapes etc......inspired now, so might just have to give this a go!
if you do not mind me asking, what settings did you use and pp path?

Update:

Time for another update to this thread, so far been very busy with a shoot every week.

Met up with PaulD86 at the start of last week to get some shots of his rapid Subaru Impreza STI Litchfield Type 20, despite the weather doing its best impression of snow!

Yes the sleet come snow was making it look a bit ropey at first but managed to stay off just long enough to get the pics. Awesome results! To anyone else who is getting Scott to take some pics of their car, he's a top bloke and as you can see is pretty handy with the camera too.

Hopefully I can give you a blast in the Scooby in more favourable conditions next time and show you what it can really do tongue out

Scott - they're fantastic, very impressive indeed.

I just hope that the fact that you missed Songs of Praise last Sunday was worth it, and can't wait to see the end result of you working your magic on your latest 'subjects'! smokin

Speak soon.

I'm not generally a fan of arty farty car photography but that's bloody impressive, I bet even my old Jag would look good in your photos. smile

I'd prefer the basic photos - far too much hdr and/or post-processing in these pictures for my liking.

PaulD86 - Thanks for the reference Paul, the scooby was a beast in those conditions so can't imagine what it'd be like in the dry.

Test prints are in and need some minor adjustments. If you can sort out an Evo from the same generation more than happy to do another shoot.

Shaun400se - Thanks Shaun, no problem what so ever. I've sorted through all the shots and most are almost finished. There is only one that I don't think is going to be usable, but I'll show you which one via email.

I'll get Songs of Praise on catch-up!

Gingernuts - Not to worry, I'll be down a few weekends soon so will email you and try sort something out. From the pictures you've posted already shouldn't struggle to find a good location.

Humper - I don't know if arty farty is a good thing or not but thanks! The jag certainly does look very photogenic!

Olivera - Thanks for commenting Olivera, they aren't for everyone. No HDR and not as much post processing as it looks like, more the composite giving it that effect.

Need to find a balance so they don't go towards looking too "rendery".

Thanks everyone for the comments, both good and bad.

It's been a tad quiet in here, but lots been going on in the background. Now have a Facebook and Twitter which I will post links to in here.

Cheers
Scott
