I need a set of 225/45/17 tyres for the diesel barge, something decent. I don't need pilot sports but equally I don't want ditch finders.

I often read that local places are often just as competitive as online suppliers, so, who's recommended?

I'm in Edinburgh but happy to travel a wee bit for a good deal.

Interesting...

I've never seen that one before and the prices certainly look good.

Anyone in particular you use for fitting?

We use city mobile tyres for the works vans, but I don't know what his policy is on fitting self supplied tyres. Some fitters seem a bit funny about that, which is understandable.

Skidz in falkirk. Craig or Greig.
You will be hard pushed to find better price, service excellent. Just put the same size on my seat cupra. Think i was about £250 for 4 falken fully fitted. Got falken on my rs4 and they are a good allrounder. They will also not damage your alloys.
