Ingliston track day and show and shine event
Discussion
I had a great day on Saturday morning and really enjoyed it. I knew the rs wasn't exactly suited to a smaller twisty track, but still had a laugh. I just couldn't find the balls to keep it nailed through the large hay bails. Clipping one at 90+ would ruin your day. Hats off to a couple of scoobies who did.
Good fun and nice bunch of guys.

Thanks Kevin, I can thank stainless creations for making the car sound as it should. I had no intension of keeping it planted, but may have got braver or stupider if I had stayed for the afternoon session. It would be interesting to see the results of all the car, including the afternoon session. The guy in the TR7 took a few pictures and had a couple of my car which he said he would post up. Any change you could email him to ask if I could get a copy of the pictures?Your car was looking good and sounded superb
Thanks.

Excellent event, thoroughly enjoyed my morning.
Agreed on hay bales,I lost majority of my time between the corner coming onto the straight and going through the hay bales, car was probably capable of 10+mph more but my bottle wasn't :-)
Chris.. your car is capable of so much more, but much better to bottle it than to overstep the cars or your own capabilities. Playing it safe is possibly the correct word to use than bottling it. The bales seemed very narrow, but were probably wider than the seemed. Going through them at a ton+ would have required very large baws. If you need Stu's number, then give me a shout. Nice talking to you and possibly see you at another event or early morning run.Agreed on hay bales,I lost majority of my time between the corner coming onto the straight and going through the hay bales, car was probably capable of 10+mph more but my bottle wasn't :-)

its going to be safer than any road car, full space frame/rollcage, etc, all msa compliant, just trying to do as much with it as possible to get my money's worth lol, it has a 550 bhp LS3, so I would also enjoy some hooning lol
no probs with it going on, will post next year when we get our date for 1st track day of the new seasonGassing Station | Scotland | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
