Few cars looking to go a run this coming Friday due to the projected 23 degrees!! Heat wave!! smile

Cars will be leaving from Dunfermline and looking for ideas where to go on a nice drive, stop off somewhere for some lunch and then head back down the road.

Current convoy sitting at :

1) Ferrari 360 Modena (Yellow)
2) Ferrari 430 Spider (Red)
3) TVR Tuscan (Jaguar Green)
4) BMW M3 (Black)
5) Lambo Gallardo MP (Green)

Cheers

Ideally here (Applecross / Torridon), but probably too far, so how about Glencoe.

It's like this here at the moment, so well worth a trip out west:

Thanks for that, looks lovely!

A friend was actually up at Applecross just last weekend and said it was truly stunning up there, turquoise water was his description.

Guess there just needs to be plenty petrol stations available on our route ha ha!

Head up there asap, the weather is around 24 in Skye today.

And I'm stuck in my crummy Aberdeen office with the sun shining outside.

Life can be a ballache at times!

If Glencoe's the destination, then the Clachaig Inn is always decent for lunch. If further South, I'll give a strong recommendation for lunch/coffee Mhor 84 on the A84 at Balquhidder. Or detour over the Duke's pass (went over it on the bike today and the surface at the moment isn't too bad by local standards…) and lunch at Venachar Lochside - great food and stunning views over Loch Venachar. And remember there's a black hole for super unleaded in the Central Highlands - unfortunately the Green Welly in Tyndrum doesn't do it and there's nothing then until Fort William.
