Good morning, good afternoon and good evening

I would like to upload a market research survey for a car storage facility. Its only 10 questions, does anyone have an objection to this?

Myself had the possible thought putting a couple in
Storage for a bit while try get some space to restore
A few more. 10 cortinas and struggle to keep them all dry

Would be interesting but if you want to know how car storage is done properly then explore the Meilenwerk in Germany.

Fantastic place as they have opened it up to the public with glass storage and put an entire retail concept around it. Don't think Scotland would be able to justify it but would love to see someone take the concept up.

Thanks for that George. It sounds like a great concept. Have you been to visit?

Yep been across in 2011.

Took the Lotus Evora abroad for a couple of weeks down to Mugello for the Moto GP. Over the 2 weeks we stayed a night in Stuttgart (to visit the Porsche and Museum factory) and heard about Meilenwerk in a Top Gear article. Quick web search and found the place.

Its like a car mecca paradise with a hotel chain, retail outlets, car service facilities and obviously the car storage. Completely overwhelmed as it was great seeing the place open to the general public to browse

Picture of the place but that it just the tip of the iceberg as it was massive.

It looks much better than the photographs on the website, much much better. I would love to see more photographs if you have them.

Did a bit of searching and the old Top Gear article is here
http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/meilenwerk-2011?u...
If you click on each picture you get more of the article.

Still got the Spyder although due to lack of use it's needing a new battery. Bit surprised that Porsche charge you £200 for one but wanting to keep it authentic as the prices of the Spyder are increasing. Possibly silly on my part but always think showing a "no expense spare" attitude make it easier to sell. Although I suspect this one is going to be the keeper.

I'm paying for secure underground parking in Glasgow (under a housing development). It's got remote gates, cctv pointing at every car. Night time security (5pm-4am) and Every time you exit or enter there is a snapshot taken showing the driver.

£40 per month it costs me.

Also just completed this.

Had a nightmare trying to find somewhere to keep my car, way to expensive in town so have rented somewhere just outside, great location and share it between 5 of us.

I think a water tap/electric is a must (personally) think most PH's enjoy cleaning there pride and joy

This. The place I'm renting doesn't have plug sockets. Would be Ideal if it did.

Also good public transport links (I like trains, detest buses) are a must.
