I'm looking to replace the front and back doors on my house in Portlethen so wondered if anyone had any local recommendations? Not needing anything too fancy, just sturdy and draft proof would be an improvement on the current ones!

Not sure if I'd be better going to a double glazing company or a joiner?

I've had a couple of things made by stonehaven joinery services, he makes decent stuff. Could try international doors and windows in Aberdeen too, they can get doors from a heap of manufacturers but might shaft you on the price for a one off

There was a pretty relevant thread in the home and gardens sub forum earlier this year - some one from Aberdeen looking for a new front door. Got lots of good advice. Might be worth a search?
