I recently bought an E46 330 convertible, complete with hardtop. A very nice car that I am pleased with.

It came with an M badge on the grill. Unbolted it when I got home and put it in a drawer - Anyone who wants it can have it smile

It also came with an M badge on the boot lid. My question is, how do I remove this without doing any damage?

For anyone who has seen my car around the West End of Glasgow, I do apologise if my 'M Rear End... offends'

Jon.

Hair dryer?

I have known somebody remove badges with a razor blade. I can confirm it's as terrible an idea as it sounds.

Audi are amongst the worst offenders.
2.0tdi TT with an RS rear spoiler are common place.
Aeverthing in Sline on 20 inch rotors.
But rebadging seems low.
does that not mean its a TT spoiler which is standard on the RS model and an option on the rest of the range? Just playing devils advocate.
It was an RS only accessory when the RS first came out. You could spec an RS without it so you'd have an RS with the standard adjustable spoiler but I don't think anybody did.

I might take the M badge. Will it fit a Passat?

You're surely not suggesting I would pass my car off as something it's not? hehe

There used to be a Jag X-Type driving around Aberdeen with R badges on. Jaguar did build some prototypes of the X-Type R back in the beginning with the 3.0 V6 supercharged, but they had reliability issues and no money to resolve so shelved the idea.

Beats me why you'd want to badge up your car to a model that doesn't even exist?
