Our drink limit
Discussion
What really niggles me, if the tabloids are to be believed, the police are out to catch motorists out now the limit has been lowered.
Why didnt they do this before if there really was a problem with drink and driving. Doesnt add up.
With all the cops out (thousands one paper said) checking on drivers, it will be open season for burgleries.
If you are burgled, no point in calling plod and requesting assistance, instead call them and say a drunk driver is driving up and down your road, that may get a response

On a lighter note is Steak and Ale pie, Sherry Trifle & Rum and Raisin ice cream best avoided at Christmas lunches?
I was being asked that tonight! As alcohol has a lower boiling point than water, anything in which alcohol is 'cooked' is likely to have no alcohol content as the alcohol will have boiled off, leaving the ale/wine/brandy etc flavour. However, with trifle......My best mates mum used to make amazing trifle with a Whole bottle of sherry in the approx 2-3kg truffle. That could tip you over if like me you reallllllllllyyyyy like trifle! Anyone who wishes to invite me for food for an expert opinion, please feel free! ( I eat a lot)

fantastic idea
Like i don't feel a pint impairs my driving but that has been made illegal
Meanwhile driving while feeling like crap isn't illegal
See my issue with this law change?

But i belive that no one should ever have a BAC higher the 80mg/ltr anywhere in a public area
Have you seen the amount of murders and assaults carried out by drunk people in scotland
But if you are happy with drunks kicking peoples heads in then who am i to disagree

Strange to say the least, the topic was about Scotland lowering the drink / drive limit to come in line with most other countries............................But i belive that no one should ever have a BAC higher the 80mg/ltr anywhere in a public area

Where has there been any mention of "drunks kicking peoples heads", why would I be happy with that and why wpould you think I would be happy with that.
What makes you need to post such drivle when one there was no mention of such matters, two it had nothing to do with the topic and three try and make out it is something I am happy with when nothing was discussed or said on such a matter.
Just like your previous posts in other topics, where you add something that was never part of any dicsussion.
You certainly come across as a very strange character... suppose it takes all sorts.

Been loaded with cold all day, drove out of work and started to sneeze. Now I reckon on that windy, country, dark road, my eyes were closed for maybe two seconds a sneeze.
Dangerous, yes it was but no where to stop either.
Oh and if I'd dosed myself up medicines my driving could also have been impaired.
2012.. Ayr High St. Dangerous, yes it was but no where to stop either.

Stationary driver in a queue takes both hands off the wheel to blow his nose. Coppers on the pavement witness this and charge the guy with not being in control of his car.
The case was dropped after much publicity in the local rag over the following weeks.
