Can't remember the name of the bakery, but there's an epically good pie bakers in Dunkeld. Always make a point of stopping there on the way back from Glenshee.

Tend to make my own steak/ale/chorizo pies at home - home made shortcrust base and shop bought puff top so naturally I believe my pies are the best in Scotland.

The best scotch pies (superb, magnificent, fantastic are words that come to mind) are made at Andersons the butcher, High Street, East Linton, East Lothian.

Harry Simpson in Corstorphine makes yummy pies. He has been known to bring them racing to slow down his fellow racers. An old Powderhall trick.
