I'm a mayby... Will need to see if I can get my Sunday shift covered at work. The chances are pretty slim though so I might just have to wait till the next one.

EDIT: Actually I just looked at the route. Ill come and belch black smoke at people for leg one then Ill most likely need to run for work after the coffee break.

The route does have natural drop in and out points so feel free to do whatever suits your day.

Anyone still needing the route drop me a mail.

A bit of a trip down memory lane for some regulars:

One of my all time favourite videos, was right behind the video car in my 928 for that whole run. Right up there as one of the best runs I've ever been on...... smile
That was me biggrin
Cracking day out bar the weather and the fact the BIB didn't take kindly to the rapid pace later in the day spin
Good memories , with a shot of adrenaline on a good flowing run.
Shows what a great car the 996T is in pretty much all weathers.

I remember having a look round your car at lunch, you sold it just too early for me. Worked out well in the end.

If I'm not hill walking Sunday, I'll be in for this. Barry, if you can pop me over the route I'd appreciate it smile

Either in the GT3, or the MINI, depends on the weather.

Cheers,
Stevie

I'm iffy for this now. Car is still dead in the water. No CEL on start up (but I do have the other lights like oil level strangely) and I get nothing from the starter when turning the key and no clicking from relay that I can hear. So I'm guessing my issue is in my loom somewhere, maybe ECU. Must be a wiring issue to give no CEL. I can get that, I can pull the error codes. Bit of a piece of string situation so don't know if I'll crack it or not before Sunday. Working in the dark isn't too fun either.

Forecast for 4-7 degrees on sunday.
Right on the cusp for winter or summer tyres!
Might need to toss a coin.

idea I wonder if he'd notice... I'd have to clean it before it went back in the garage to his exacting standards laugh Poor thing gets left lying for so long, really I could be doing him a favour wink

Or I may just bring the Saab, the top mounts are on the way out but I'm sure I can get one more run out of them! Would finish off the front tyres too in time for summer!

It's getting nearer spring, so time for the run season to get into full swing.

Perhaps some precious metal coming out of hibernation.

Usual routine, around 200 miles on Scotland's best roads with a coffee stop, a lunch and maybe a half pint with fellow PH'ers.

It will be a 0930 start and finish around 1530 in the bar for the full run.

All welcome from Mosler to Micra ... Show cars or go cars!

Rear passenger side brakes binding on - hopefully resolved tomorrow.

Most likely sticking caliper which may or may not need replaced
