Just a couple of pics from my Edinburgh-based car club's run to the Borders, on February 28th.

A GoPro video was made but it shall not be shared I'm afraid...

We drove from Edinburgh down to Moffat along the absolutely fantastic A701. From there, over to St. Mary's Loch on the A708 (unreal... Just unreal) and then trundled home up the A68. A nice short run, 3-4 hours with stops.

And a few from the GoPro. Conditions were sh*t so they aren't worth much but oh well.

I've done that run many times on my bike..if you turn off the a7 after gorebridge to Innerleithen and go over the granites the scenery is fantastic..

Any room for a tvr cerbera making some noise on the next run?

Absolutely. Hows the gearbox now, did you manage to get hold of one. Mine is bedded in and brutal.

PS that is my Tuscan in the pics.

I kinda thought it was...the cerb is coming on well it's mot'd but a few other bits need done before I get out, the gearbox has to be refitted and then I'll tax it.

Where's the next run to?

Hi Guys, looks great fun, great pics too.
Calum I've pm'd you, if you dont mind a beat up old TVR wedge trying to tag along, Greig might remember it from the runs with Richard.

Hi gents.

The club is ESD - 'Edinburgh Sportscar Drivers' and operates through a facebook group. I started and run the club but it's very very informal, just a place for Edinburgh-and-surroundings to talk and plan runs / days at Crail / track days. We're in our second year now. Typically runs garner about 6-10 cars. We have absolutely no place for car snobbery and so long as you're a respectable driver you're welcome.

We also do an annual run North to applecross and such which attracted 17 cars last year. This year we're doing 4/5th July and I am in the middle of planning it out. Again it will be publicised through facebook in an event inside the 'closed' group system. Last year I posted about this run on Pistonheads and a few came up with us, and they'd be welcome to again!

Also - when I say closed group, I don't mean to imply any exclusivity - only that it's best some things aren't fully public.
